Q: What is Mileage Maxx™ Mileage Booster?

A: Mileage Maxx™ is a year round fuel conditioner designed to improve the performance by making engines burn fuel more completely. Mileage Maxx™ works with any fuel used in cars, trucks, buses, ships, construction equipment, trains and generators and is comprised of environmentally safe biodegradable petrochemicals.  Mileage Maxx™ contains a powerful new detergent formulated to clean fuel pumps, injectors, and fuel lines.  Beyond it's cleaning agents, this "All In One" fuel treatment lowers fuel surface tension, resulting in enhanced combustion and a more complete fuel burn. Mileage Maxx™ is proven to increase fuel economy up to 20%.  It is a "green" product that helps operators comply with clean air laws and reduce emissions by promoting a cleaner burn to reduce smoking, soot, and vapor exhaust. The end result is increased fuel economy and performance, lower maintenance costs, and reduced harmful exhaust emissions.

Q: How does Mileage Maxx™ work?

A: Mileage Maxx™ Mileage Booster reformulates any fuel, causing two important benefits. The first benefit is the added lubricity to the engine. The second is adding cleansing properties to the fuel. All of the internal components benefit from the cleansing and lubricating action including the fuel lines, filters, carburetors, spark plugs and injectors. Mileage Maxx™ also conditions the engine seals, keeping them tighter longer. A cleaner, more lubricated engine runs smoother, requires less maintenance and reduces engine heat significantly. Horsepower returns closer to the manufacturer’s specifications. Mileage Maxx™ removes carbon deposits that cause fuel to combust incompletely, resulting in wasted fuel that creates toxic emissions. The combination of cleaning and lubricating esters in Mileage Maxx™ stabilize the fuel without changing its specifications.

Q: How do I use Mileage Maxx™?

A: The recommended dosage rate for Mileage Maxx™ is 4 ounces per 10 gallons of fuel "every other fill-up" or 2 ounces per 10 gallons of fuel every fill-up. To get the best results, you may want to add 8 ounces of Mileage Maxx™ to your fuel on the first fill-up to speed up the cleaning process. To avoid spilling, you may want to use a funnel when adding Mileage Maxx to your fuel tank.

Q: Mileage Decreased - I used the product correctly, and my mileage actually dropped, why?

A: This could be due to a couple of factors:
Make sure you have an accurate baseline of your current gas mileage before using the product. If you do not know what you had before, it will be difficult to determine what the difference is.
It may take a few tanks of gas to clean out your engine and make it run more efficiently, in extreme cases, some may actually see a drop in gas mileage until the engine has been cleaned thoroughly.
If it is a new vehicle, or extremely well maintained, it may already be performing to its maximum potential.
If you are using the mileage computer on a newer vehicle, it must be re-calibrated before you get an accurate reading. You may get better results figuring your mileage manually.
You may need to have your fuel filter changed as it may have become clogged during the cleaning process.
Mileage Maxx™ always works, and the only difference is the time it takes from one engine to another.

Q. Does Mileage Maxx™ contain any alcohol, methanol or isopropyl?

A: No. Mileage Maxx™ is comprised strictly of petrochemical components which cannot damage your engine.

Q. Will Mileage Maxx™ damage the finish on my car or truck?

A. No. However, we suggest you remove any product spilled, as it may leave an oily film.

Q. Why is it necessary to add this fuel additive?

A. Mileage Maxx™ improves fuel mileage. It is not in the best interest of fuel companies to reduce your fuel consumption.

Q. Can Mileage Maxx™ be used in underground storage tanks?

A. Yes.

Q. What percentage mileage increase can you expect from Mileage Maxx™ Mileage Booster?

A. There are so many variables affecting fuel mileage, it's almost impossible to determine the exact percentage. Company test results indicate that a

5-20% fuel savings is likely.

Q. Is Mileage Maxx™ safe to ship? And what about transportation?

A. Mileage Maxx™ Mileage Booster is safe to ship and to carry in your vehicle.

Q. Can you overdose your fuel with Mileage Maxx™ Mileage Booster?

A. No. However, an excessive dose may clean your fuel system so rapidly that a new fuel filter may be required.

Q. What effects does Mileage Maxx™ have on over-run (dieseling)?

A. Mileage Maxx™ helps to reduce over-run (or dieseling) by improving the fuel burn. It actually changes the burn ratio of the fuel.

Q. Will Mileage Maxx™ cause fuel filters to clog?

A. It is extremely unlikely. If your mileage begins to drop, we recommend that you change your fuel filter. The cleaning agent in the product eliminates dirt and carbon build-up from your fuel system, which may accumulate in your filter. Your mileage will increase after your first fuel filter change.

Q. Does Mileage Maxx™ affect exhaust emissions?

A. Yes. Tests on infra-red exhaust analysis equipment indicate a drop in the hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emissions up to as much as 90 percent. This proves that Mileage Maxx™ Mileage Booster improves combustion dramatically, thus keeping our air cleaner.

Q. How do Mileage Maxx™ Mileage Booster's cleaning agents work?

A. The cleaning agents in Mileage Maxx™ remove dirt, rust, corrosion and carbon buildup from vital engine parts.

Q. How does the Mileage Maxx™ water scavenger work?

A. The water scavenger in Mileage Maxx™ Mileage Booster chemically emulsifies the water with the fuel in your fuel tank and fuel lines, allowing it to be removed through the normal combustion process.

Q. Is Mileage Maxx™ covered by product liability insurance?

A. Yes.

Q. Does Mileage Maxx™ boost Cetane ratings?

A. Yes. Mileage Maxx™ gives the effect of increasing Cetane ratings in diesel fuel.

Q. Is Mileage Maxx™ cost effective?

A. Definitely! When you consider that the product can keep your fuel tank from rusting out, removes moisture from fuel system, eliminates unnecessary injector rebuilding, reduce oil contamination, give better combustion, extend the life of your exhaust system and increase fuel mileage, plus pays for itself 3 - 7 times over, you can't afford not to use Mileage Maxx™.

Q. Does Mileage Maxx™ reduce Bacteria growth in Diesel Fuel?

A. Yes, our product helps to emulsify the water in diesel and attack most forms of algae commonly found in fuel storage tanks.

Q: What about Mileage Maxx™ and my new car warranty?

 A: Adding Mileage Maxx to your fuel tank will not void the manufacturers warranty on new vehicles and here's why: 

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) must approve and registers all fuel additives before they can legally be sold in the United States.

EPA approval involves verifying that the additive will not harm a vehicle's fuel system or increase the amount of pollution its engine emits or it is not registered and approved.

Mileage Maxx is registered by the EPA to sell in the United States. 

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act
US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312
 
This is federally mandated act. It provides that unless specifically waived in writing by the Federal Trade Commission, it specifically prohibits any manufacturer from making its vehicle warranty conditional on the use of any brand of fuel, fuel additive, fluid, lubricant or filter unless the manufacturer provides the fuel, fuel additive, fluid, lubricant or filter free of charge for the duration of the affected warranty.
 
Since in most instances the Federally mandated "Emission Warranty" is of longer duration than the OEM's "Basic Coverage" or the "Extra Drivetrain Warranty" it means that from 0 to 100,000 miles or for full 10 years manufacturer would have to supply the item free if he would specifically require the use of specific brand.
 
So if you are ever told that only the original equipment fuel, fuel additive, fluid, lubricant or filter offered by the dealer or mechanic must be used or the warranty will be void, then demand that the service performed and the OEM fuel, fluid, lubricant or filter is FREE of charge. If you are charged for the fuel, fluid, lubricant or filter the manufacturer is violating Federal law.

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).

If they can prove the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure, then the warranty repair on the failed part does not have to be provided.  The warranty is still valid on all other covered parts and can not be voided per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act.

It would seem very difficult for a manufacturer to prove that Mileage Maxx caused damage to the fuel system since the EPA has already tested and proved that Mileage Maxx will not damage the fuel system.

So any mis-informed news reports, discussions, Blogs, or any other means of communication stating that using Mileage Maxx or any other EPA approved fuel additive will void the manufactures new vehicle warranty is completely without merit and not supported by federal law, the EPA and the Federal Trade Commission.
